Thoughts on the Atonement
Recently we went down town on Trax for fun little primary activity. We toured the Beehive house and ate snacks in front of the temple. We took pictures in front of the beautiful spring flowers. I couldn't have hoped for a happier primary activity. I love these kids so much.
Towards the end of the activity we had all of the kids point at the temple for a picture. I wanted a picture to show them where they set their sights for when they grow older.
I look at these kids, they come from all different backgrounds and different families. They have different personalities and different life experience already at such young ages. But when I see them pointing at the temple I know that the Atonement makes all of us the same. No matter the labels other may place on you or others, the only thing that really, truly matters is your relationship with your Heavenly Father and your humility before him. If we are right with God, we are striving every day to be right with others, and this brings so much peace. I love the temple!!! I love these beautiful kids!! I am forever indebted to a Heavenly Father that allows me so much room to grow and has so much patience for my mess ups!
The only reason I can continue to go to the temple is because of the Atonement. What an infinite blessing!!!!
